Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the [Ever] Living, [All] Sustaining.
Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwal Haiyul Qaiyoom;
Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him.
Laa ta’khuzuhoo sinatuw wa Laa nawm
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard
Who could [possibly] intercede with Him without His permission?
Man zal lazee yashfa'u ‘indahooo illaa bi-iznih
He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them,
Ya'lamu maa baina aydeehim wa maa khalfahum
but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills ˹to reveal˺.
Wa laa yuheetoona bishai'im min 'ilmihee illaa bimaa shaaa'
His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth,
Wasi'a Kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal ard
and the preservation of both does not tire Him.
Wa laa ya-oo-du-hoo hifzuhumaa
And He is the Most High, the Greatest.
